    3. Here’s the necessarily hyperbolic trailer for the 10th anniversary release / remake / remix. It’s also an important anniversary for Microsoft, as Halo was the launch title for the original Xbox. I repeat, Microsoft did not have any stake in the console market before this release.

      “To be absolutely clear: if you don’t like Halo, you will still not like it now that it’s prettier.”  I’d add to that that the standard of behaviour in online multiplayer games has decreased so much over the last decade that you might be shocked if you haven’t played online recently. 12-year-olds these days are definitely meaner. And I’m 10 years older.

    11. Reviews seem to be mostly positive, no doubt in the main written by people that the game meant a lot to on release. Sales figures will show just how powerful the nostalgia factor is. Based on the success that Hollywood have achieved based on the remake, I’ll be very surprised if this isn’t pretty successful.
